The debut album from Kingston town indie-rockers ANISON is released on the 30th April. With influences ranging from Radiohead, to the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s and The Maccabees, the album Memory Flashes is set to soar!We took a listen to the lead single ‘Fluidity’ (available from their site as a free download) and this is what we thought:
Cocky bass with snake-like notes squeezed out at intervals. Strident sounds of crushed glass lay dangerously underfoot, and an abundance of the kind of honeyed vocals that leave a slightly menacing and fateful threat lingering in the air. Moody, mystifying and moreish.
